Abstract:	A new substitute name, Ehrsnbergeria nom. n., is proposed for the feather mite genus Raineria Dabert, 2003 (preoccupied by Osswald, 1928 for a fossil shark) with two species: Ehrnsbergeria africana (Gaud, 1976) comb. n. and E. mironovi (Dabert et Ehrnsberger, 1995) comb. n.
