| Abstract: | В статье рассматривается теория и практика дискурс-анализа избирательной кампании в концепции Вильяма В. Бенуа – одного из наиболее известных современных американских специалистов в области социологии и коммуникативистики. Сопоставляются достоинства и недостатки тактик Восхваления, Нападения и Защиты, обращений к Личности и к Политике.
The article deals with the Functional Theory of Political Campaign Discourse elaborated by W. L. Benoit, one of the most noted modern American experts in the sphere of sociology and communication. The positive and negative aspects of Acclaiming, Attacking, and Defending tactics are under consideration, and the regularities in appeals to topics of Policy and Character in political discourse are observed. |
