| Abstract: | Статья посвящена оценке сведений по истории поздней Византии, содержащихся в собрании речей, или гомилий Св. Григория Паламы (1296–1359), архиепископа Фессалоники с 1350 г. Гомилии Паламы дают ценную информацию о социальных и религиозных различиях населения Фессалоники (налогообложении, ереси, магии и т. д.).
The article deals with the problem of historical evaluation of the data of late Byzantine history from in the collection of sermons, or homilies of Saint Gregory Palamas (1296–1359), Archbishop of Thessalonica since 1350. The homilies of Palamasspresent worthy information about social and religious discrepancies of the inhabitants of Thessalonica (taxation, heresy, magic etc.). |
