В статье описывается история журнала «Гитаристъ». Раскрывается содержание статей, анализируются общие и особенные черты дореволюционной и новой версий «Гитариста». Особое внимание уделено концепции издания, определению его роли в культурномузыкальной жизни.

The article describes the history of the magazine «Guitarist». The content of the articles is revealed, the general and special features of the pre-revolutionary and new versions of the «Guitarist» are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the concept of the publication, the definition of its role in cultural and musical life.
