Abstract

Биография Жильбера Ромма (1750–1795), выдающегося знатока эпохи французской революции, привлекла внимание многих историков, но многие ее аспекты до сих пор остаются неясными. В частности, одним из них является русское путешествие Ромма в 1781 году, о котором все французские авторы писали как о путешествии «в Сибирь». Проанализировав все источники, относящиеся к этому путешествию и хранящиеся в российских, французских, итальянских архивах, Александр Чудинов подробно показывает истинный путь Ромма от Санкт-Петербурга до Урала.

The biography of Gilbert Romm (1750–1795), an outstanding expert on the era of the French Revolution, has attracted the attention of many historians, but many aspects of it still remain unclear. In particular, one of them is Romm's Russian journey in 1781, which all French authors wrote about as a journey «to Siberia». Having analyzed all the sources related to this journey and stored in Russian, French, and Italian archives, Alexander Chudinov shows in detail the true path of Romm from St. Petersburg to the Urals.a

En particulier, l'un d'eux est le voyage russe de Romme en 1781 dont tous les auteurs franpais dccrivcnt comme celui «en Siberie». En ayant analyse tous les sources correspondantes a ce voyage et conservees aux archives russes, françaises italiennes, Alexandre Tchoudinov demontre en detail le vrai trajet de Romme a partirde Saint-Petersbourg jusqu'au Oural.
