Abstract:	Статья представляет собой воспоминания сына о своём отце – ветеране Великой Отечественной войны старшем лейтенанте Степане Ивановиче Зайцеве. На основе личных записей отца автор воссоздаёт его боевой путь: от начала службы в 1939 г. до тяжёлого ранения в 1944 г. В тексте подробно описаны ключевые эпизоды военной биографии С. И. Зайцева. Автор подчёркивает важность сохранения памяти о ветеранах и передачи правды о войне следующим поколениям. The article is a son's memoirs about his father– a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Senior Lieutenant Stepan Ivanovich Zaitsev. Based on his father's personal notes, the author recreates his military career: from the beginning of his service in 1939 to his severe injury in 1944. The text describes in detail the key episodes of S. I. Zaitsev's military biography. The author emphasizes the importance of preserving the memory of veterans and passing on the truth about the war to the next generations.
