Abstract: В статье рассматриваются качественные характеристики (имеющие сквозной для модерна и постмодерна характер) интерпретации понятия «современность», часто использующегося в социальных и гуманитарных науках и в философии: его традиционная (социально-гуманитарная) и новаторская (философская) трактовки. Под традиционным пониманием современности обозначается взгляд на современность как на эпоху, берущий свое начало, как минимум, с Гегеля. Новаторской означена концепция современности как субъективности А.В. Павлова.
In the article takes up quality characteristics (which is having a pass-through the nature for modern and postmodern) interpretation of the concept of «modernity», often used in the social sciences and humanities, and philosophy: at its traditional (social and humanitarian) and innovative (philosophical) interpretation. At the traditional understanding of the modernity it’s designated as an era, what has origins at least from Hegel. At innovative concept of modernity by A.V. Pavlov, it’s signified as subjectivity.
