The importance of the beef cattle industry in the production of high-quality beef is increasing. In the Tyumen region, the breed composition has changed in recent years due to the introduction of world-class breeding resources. In the structure of meat production breeds in the Tyumen region, the Hereford breed accounts for the largest share – 55%, followed by the Obrak breed – 24%. The purpose of the research was to study the fattening and meat qualities of Aubrac bulls of different genetic and ecological generations in the conditions of the Northern Trans-Urals.
