«Чудес давно уже не бывает». Доводы Томаса Гоббса

Abstract

The article is devoted to the reconstruction of approaches to the analysis of signs and the miracles belonging to one of the ancestors of the European philosophy of religion - to Thomas Gobbs. He has anticipated tradition of rational criticism significant and wonderful, and, on the other hand, has acted with actual apologia of their Bible-Christian analogues. In article the detailed comment on the reflections of the philosopher concerning definition of a miracle, its semantics and etymology is given. The author considers, that T. Gobbs, thus, has created conditions for formation of gnosiology and phenomenology of a miracle.

Статья посвящена реконструкции подходов к анализу знамений и чудес, принадлежащих одному из родоначальников европейской философии религии - Томасу Гоббсу. Он предвосхитил традицию рациональной критики значимого и прекрасного, а, с другой стороны, выступил с актуальной апологией их библейско-христианских аналогов. В статье дается подробный комментарий к размышлениям философа относительно определения чуда, его семантики и этимологии. Автор считает, что Т. Гоббс, таким образом, создал условия для формирования гносеологии и феноменологии чуда.
