Сакральный ландшафт Тюменской области: типология и механизмы конструирования

Abstract

The article specifies main types and objects of the sacral landscape which were, principally, determined as the result of field observations (2005-2016) in the territory of the Tyumen region, as well as some mechanisms for this landscape’s formation. The article presents two variants of such type of landscape which are a religious landscape (more restricted notion) and a sacral landscape itself. Nowadays, the religious landscape is being extensively developed in the territory of the region. Moreover, earlier, some of its objects (for example, water sources) and practices of their veneration had been developed in an Orthodox spirit but now their clericalization is under way. In case of newly established religious landscapes, it is possible to talk about their telic Orthodox religious formation. The sacral landscape of the region is being formed in two directions. Оп the one hand, there is an «accidental» formation of the objects. According to our observations, the accidental form of the sacral landscape can be permanent and contextual, or temporary. On the other hand, one may talk about the marketing usage of sacral objects, for instance, for purposes of territory branding (business; the name of a tradition starter may be known). Both forms of the sacral landscape formation are young enough existing from the mid-1990-s and the early 2000-s.
