An annotated checklist of oribatid mite taxa collected from Morocco in 1994 and 1997 is provided. We have registered 20 species, 18 genera and 16 families. One species of the family Liacaridae, Xenillus clavatopilus Mihelяiя, 1967, is redescribed, on the basis of specimens from Marocco. Morphological differences between Moroccan and Spain specimens of this species are presented.en
