dc.description.abstractA new species of oribatid mites of the genus Malaconothrus, M. adilatatus sp. n., is described from Vietnam. It differs from M. heterotrichus by the body size, morphology of interlamellar and exobothridial setae ex1 and some epimeral and leg setae. An identification key to species of the genus Malaconothrus known from Vietnam is given.en
