In the article the authors investigate social aspects of healthy lifestyle among different population groups that are the reproductive, intellectual and economic potential of the country. This study is a fragment of the sociological research conducted in 2012 and 2013. The research covered groups of school children of 5-11th grades and their parents, as well as university students in the South of the Tyumen Region. The aim of the research was to study how the healthy lifestyle is maintained among school children, their parents and students in the South of the Tyumen Region. In particular we assessed opinions of different population groups about "health lifestyle" concept and their presonal lifestyle strategy. The majority of school children (85%) and their parents (70%) maintains a healthy lifestyle. Results among school children and students are close to the estimate of parents. With increasing professional program the assessment shifted toward less categorical assertions about the healthy lifestyle. In the South of the Tyumen Region a sociological portrait of students and school children looks like "smoking and alcohol free", "physically active", "spends much time outdoors".en
