Касимовские татары и Сибирь

Abstract

Статья посвящена представителям тюркского населения, чьи судьбы оказались связаны с историей Сибири и Центральной России, Казахстана и Средней Азии. Часть из них «чужой» этноним присвоила себе, тогда как другие, покинув Касимовское царство (затем ‒ уезд Рязанской губернии), сохранили самосознание и память о месте исхода. Исследование проведено на основе архивных и опубликованных письменных источников.

The article is devoted to the fate of representatives of the Turkic population, which due to the circumstances turned out to be linked with the history of Siberia and Central Russia, Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Some of them appropriated the «alien» ethnonym for themselves, while others, having left the Kasimov kingdom (and then the district of the Ryazan province), retained their self-consciousness and memory of the place of exodus. The study was conducted on the basis of archival and published written sources.
