Мусульмане в российском казачестве в первой половине XIX века

Abstract

В статье рассматривается численность мусульманских приходов в казачьих войсках в середине XIX века. Констатируется, что регламентация жизнедеятельности приходов военно-служилого сословия была аналогичной с религиозными общинами сельского податного населения, что официально было подтверждено Военным министерством в 1855 году.

The author considers the process of the foundation of Muslim enclave in Russian irregular forces — the Cossacks in the middle of 19 century in southeast of Russian Empire. Statistic data concerning the quantity of the Muslim settlements, magnitude of religious institutions, including the number of confessors, congregation and worship buildings are first published in the article. It traces the process of establishing control of Muslim community of the Cossacks.
