Ее проведению предшествовали многочисленные попытки землепроходцев и мореходов пробиться через непроходимые льды Карского моря. The Great Northern Expedition became a landmark event in the history of exploration of the Arctic Ocean coast. It was preceded by numerous attempts by explorers and sailors to break through the impassable ice of the Kara Sea. The article presents the materials of the archive of the Great Northern Expedition of 1734-1740. |
