Роль казаков в Сибирском восстании 1921 года

Abstract

Статья посвящена роли казачества в исторических событиях первой четверти XX века, с особым акцентом на участие казаков в Западно‑Сибирском (Ишимском) крестьянском восстании 1921 года. В работе анализируется положение казачества накануне революции 1917 года, последствия Декрета «Об уничтожении сословий и гражданских чинов», а также директивы советской власти, направленные на ликвидацию казачьего сословия (в частности, Циркулярное письмо Оргбюро ЦК РКП(б) от 24 января 1919 года).

The article is devoted to the role of the Cossacks in the historical events of the first quarter of the 20th century, with a special emphasis on the participation of Cossacks in Western‑The Siberian (Ishim) peasant uprising of 1921. The paper analyzes the situation of the Cossacks on the eve of the 1917 revolution, the consequences of the Decree «On the destruction of estates and civil ranks», as well as the directives of the Soviet government aimed at eliminating the Cossack estate (in particular, the Circular Letter of the Organizational Bureau of the Central Committee of the Russian Communist Party (b) dated January 24, 1919).
