On the origin of academic species: формирование идейных ниш и μίμησις среди научных форм жизни

Статья посвящена анализу феноменов «провинциальной» и «туземной» науки в рамках дискуссии, инициированной М. Соколовым и К. Титаевым. В работе используется метафорический подход, сравнивающий академическую среду с экологической системой: научные сообщества рассматриваются как популяции и виды, конкурирующие за внимание и ресурсы.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the phenomena of "provincial" and "native" science in the framework of the discussion initiated by M. Sokolov and K. Titaev. The paper uses a metaphorical approach comparing the academic environment with an ecological system: scientific communities are viewed as populations and species competing for attention and resources.
